Ms. Ng Sin Yee holds an honour degree LLB. (Hons) from the Northumbria University, United Kingdom. She has been in the field of intellectual property for 6 years. Prior to joining CHP IP, she worked in one of the top IP firms in Malaysia.
Starting off as a legal executive, Sin Yee was given opportunities to manage and oversee the international IP portfolio. She is familiar with the IP prosecution routes in other countries and also have experience in assisting clients in filing their international registrations via Madrid Protocol.
Subsequently, Sin Yee transferred her role as a legal advisor in which her duties and responsibilities include advising and assisting clients in prosecution and registration of trademarks, patents, industrial designs and copyrights in Malaysia and overseas. She also attended to IP office actions, refusal, hearing or opposition at the Registry of Trade Marks, Malaysia.
Other than that, Sin Yee also has extensive experiences in formulating and providing strategic advice on IP protection for small and large businesses.
