Kher Jia has extensive in-house experience in a multinational digital technology company. Being the sole legal counsel in the company, Kher Jia gained invaluable corporate experience in managing the regional legal and corporate affairs of the company and providing real-time business-minded and pragmatic legal advice to management team
Prior to joining in-house, Kher Jia was a Senior Associate at Zaid Ibrahim & Co., a tier one corporate transactions-focused law firm in Malaysia, during which she advised on numerous cross-border M&A deals, foreign direct investments as well as notable capital market transactions. Kher Jia has also advised on matters pertaining to corporate and commercial laws such as advising on joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, and issues under company law as well as drafting of various commercial agreements and transactions documents.
